SEO sites

What other SEO sites and blogs are there besides WordStream, Netpeak and Serpstat?

It is a really good idea to keep up to date with the latest SEO news, tips and tricks. One was to do this is to follow SEO sites.

Regularly reading content from sources that you can trust is a good habit to get into.

In this blog post, I will list some other SEO sites that are worth checking out.

1: The Official Google Webmaster Central Blog

The Google Webmaster Central Blog has an archive of content that dates back to 2006 and is updated regularly.

As I have mentioned in a previous post, Google makes hundreds of changes to the algorithm in an attempt to optimise the customer experience.

Some of these algorithm updates are published whilst others aren’t. For the ones that are, it is vital that you get to grips with what the implications of these changes are.

2: Moz Blog

Moz was founded by Rand Fishkin and Gillian Muessig in 2004. Moz started off as a blog and an online community called SEOMoz, before going on to build the SEO tools that you are likely to be familiar with.

The Moz blog is still up and running today, and a few posts are published each week.

Many industry experts help to contribute to the Moz blog providing their insights, advice, tips and tricks. The blog has 35+ categories, including:

3: Search Engine Land

Search Engine Land is one of the leading daily publications that cover all aspects of the search marketing industry.
There’s a section of the website that is dedicated solely to SEO; also, there’s a section that is specifically dedicated to Google Algorithm updates.

4: SEO Book

SEO Book is another leading SEO website that was founded in 2003 by Aaron Wall. Asides from providing tools, videos and training, there is also an SEO themed blog along with the website.

5: Search Engine Watch

Search Engine Watch is a website that provides tips and tricks about SEO and provides updated information on the SEO industry.

The content helps people to improve their ranking in search engines.

The SEO section of the blog includes subsections, including:

Conclusion

So there we have it, folks, those are 5 SEO sites/blogs to keep an eye on, or subscribe to.

Keeping up to date with changes in the SEO industry will help you to develop your SEO strategy.

Also, I’d still say keep an eye on Serpstat as well; it offers some great wisdom hard to find elsewhere.

As emphasised in the beginning, it is important to keep up to date with the latest SEO news!
