How Pearl Lemon Documents SEO Results and Client Feedback
What evidence stands behind a Pearl Lemon case study? This guide explains how to interpret our historical client work, commercial outcomes, client conversations and independent reviews. Pearl Lemon has operated since 2016 and publishes accounts spanning SEO, technical content, B2B demand generation and related services. These materials do not all carry the same level of verification, nor do they guarantee future outcomes.
We distinguish company-reported delivery, feedback described from client conversations, reported metrics from historical campaign discussions, and independently published reviews. Buyers should have enough context to evaluate the evidence rather than being asked to accept an impressive percentage in isolation.
Our evidence and attribution approach
| Source | What you can reasonably conclude | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Independent platform review | A third-party site has published a reviewer’s experience with a named or described project. | An independent audit of every metric or the complete facts of a dispute. |
| Pearl Lemon historical account | What our team reports delivering and observing during an engagement. | An unaffiliated verification or an outcome for another buyer. |
| Feedback given in a client conversation | Our account of what a client communicated in a meeting or call. | A verbatim testimonial or public endorsement unless the client has approved those words. |
| Campaign dashboard, dated screenshot or report | A measurement captured for the stated property and period, if its source, units and timeframe are visible. | Causation, independent certification or closed sales without additional information. |
| Completed project and invoices | A commercial engagement and specified delivery where described by the company. | Improved rankings, qualified leads, sales or a universally positive client experience. |
How to read SEO performance correctly
Keyword rankings
A count of keywords in positions 1–3 or 1–10 can describe changes in search visibility. It must be interpreted alongside the original ranking set, geography, device, date range and whether branded searches are included. A change from five to eleven Top-3 keywords is six additional keywords, or 120% growth in the count—not a 120% traffic or revenue gain.
Impressions, clicks and click-through rate
Search Console impressions measure opportunities for a result to appear. Clicks record visits originating from search results. Click-through rate (CTR) is clicks divided by impressions for the measured set. These signals may diverge because of seasonality, position, query mix or changes to search interfaces. Claims of percentage improvement should ideally identify the comparison period and starting denominator.
Enquiries and revenue
Organic enquiries require a form, call, booking or other defined conversion event. Qualified leads and attended sales meetings require separate qualification standards. Revenue is measured when a commercial outcome occurs and can be attributed appropriately. We do not treat impressions, rankings, email opens or appointment requests as automatically equivalent to revenue.
Examples from our published historical work
OAL Group: specialist industrial video SEO
Our OAL Group case describes a paid video-focused marketing and SEO audit for a food-manufacturing automation business. It examines product-language clarity, relevant video metadata, channel structure and potential paths from educational videos to technical product enquiries. The case includes a historical visibility estimate and feedback attributed to earlier discussions; it explains that underlying audited analytics for that estimate are not presented. A completed audit is not the same evidence as a sustained, measured traffic increase.
True Influence: SEO work for an ABM business
Our True Influence case discusses technical SEO, B2B keyword architecture, content guidance and collaboration with an internal team over an extended relationship. It is useful for understanding the complexity of enterprise-oriented SEO. Project scope, implementation claims and longer-term commercial results should be kept distinct.
Nerds Collective: reported keyword growth
Our Nerds Collective case describes six months of work and reports Top-3 and Top-10 keyword growth. Those are historical company-reported ranking counts, not a independently audited customer-acquisition figure. For interpretation, ask what time period, queries and target markets were included and whether the increased rankings generated qualified enquiries.
The Running School: ranking and visibility changes without new content
The Running School case discusses technical, on-page and authority work while the team was not producing new content during that campaign period. It highlights that SEO improvements may come from optimising existing assets. Traffic and ranking movements require comparison against seasonality, branded demand and original Search Console windows.
Independent third-party reviews versus our own case studies
Reviews on Clutch and Trustpilot are separately hosted feedback. They include positive and critical accounts and must not be conflated with our own case-study copy. Our independent project review analysis discusses several externally published SEO engagements and includes historical criticism. Our reviews and company evidence guide links to official business records and explains what different third-party ratings mean.
Across Pearl Lemon Group businesses and review platforms we report more than 1,000 online reviews in aggregate. This is a self-reported group-wide figure involving different review types and ratings—not a claim that the SEO agency has 1,000 five-star customer reviews.
How we handle historic client conversations
Many projects involved meetings, informal feedback, collaborative reviews and phone discussions rather than a public written testimonial. Where we describe a client’s reaction from those conversations, the account is attributed to Pearl Lemon’s recollection or project history. We do not put invented sentences in quotation marks or imply that an informal discussion is an approved public testimonial. We also avoid presenting internal business records, unpublished communications or private client details on this page.
What to check before commissioning an SEO campaign
- Business objective: Is the priority qualified enquiries, pipeline quality, traffic, local visibility, an ecommerce product category or technical accessibility?
- Baseline: Which properties, analytics sources and comparison periods will be used?
- Responsibility: Which deliverables can the agency implement directly and which depend on the client’s team?
- Reporting: Will you see dated rankings, clicks, impressions, lead definitions and explanations for unexplained changes?
- Communication: Who handles questions, escalations and changes in scope?
- Interpretation: Are results client-reported, company-reported, measured from a dashboard or independently published?
Additional anonymised historical delivery examples
Three more public cases demonstrate different forms of evidence without disclosing clients whose named-use permissions are not established:
- B2B newsletter resend — approximately 300 additional opens and 21 clicks in company-reported historical campaign data, with the reporting discrepancy explained.
- Editorial publisher SEO and AMP — a historical 13% month-on-month organic traffic observation, clearly attributed to Pearl Lemon rather than an independent audit.
- Industrial technical copywriting — a completed two-page assignment with review and revisions, without inventing SEO or sales results.
These examples are company-authored retrospectives, not independent client endorsements. The value is in what they show about scope, delivery, measurement and limitations.
Corrections, questions and source transparency
Historic case-study wording can be corrected if new context changes the interpretation of a result, its timeframe or the scope of the actual engagement. For questions about an individual project, contact info@pearllemongroup.com with the relevant page and statement. Sensitive details and clients’ confidential materials are not published merely to substantiate a marketing claim.
Editorial statement: This is a Pearl Lemon-authored explanation of our evidence standards, not independent verification of every past campaign. We recommend reading the original review profiles and discussing the details of any proposed engagement. Last editorial update: 13 October 2026.
