After you have installed the extension/plugin in your favorite browser, it will be added to your toolbar (visibly in Firefox, a little hidden in Chrome, but if you dig, it’s there.) Like other extensions you make use of, it will then be sitting there, ready to use whenever you need it.
Right off the bat, search a major keyword for your own site in Google, and you’ll be presented not only with information about your site but also your close competitors right on the search page. In addition, you’ll see the PASF terms, related keywords, suggested longtail keywords and trends data.
This check is so fast it’s one you may want to do often. This is the free user view, and, as you can see, there is a TON of useful and actionable information available even at this level. You can then take all this information and dig as deep as you like.

We also mentioned third-party marketplaces like Amazon, Etsy and more. So how does it work there? To get started, you will need to activate an API key, but that is a simple process that the developer of the tool walks you through here. Unlike many other tools, Keywords Everywhere is not subscription-based. Instead, you pay for credits. To keep things simple – and we love simple, don’t you? – one credit equals one keyword. Currently, the pricing breaks down as follows:
Credits are billed on a per-use basis, although it is not exactly the case that one credit will be used for a single search.
For example, if you do a Google search and are given metrics for 8 related keywords and 20 PASFs, it will cost 29 (1 + 20 + 8 = 29) credits.
Some settings can be disabled to reduce the number of credits used. For instance, for every keyword that appears in Google AutoComplete, the tool will charge you one credit. To preserve credits, you should toggle this off.
You can disable the tool at any time so that when you are not doing keyword research, you do not use any credits. You can also toggle off related keywords and PASF outcomes that are related.
