I’m trying to find the rationale for this question.
Here are some alternative truisms:
- SEO can not work in that it doesn’t GUARANTEE business success
- SEO can not work in that you execute it poorly and so doesn’t deliver the results you were hoping for
- SEO can not work in that you can execute it well but the competitors are most established and entrenched in the market
- SEO can seem like it doesn’t work because alternative methods for your business (or your marketing style/strategy/experience) are a better fit
With all of these considerations in mind you could make the inductive leap that SEO doesn’t work however this is akin to saying ‘I did what I was told would work – it didn’t – therefore the strategy was wrong’
E.g. I built a bed as I was told and ignored three screws but it still looked the same. I don’t understand why the bed broke.
The reasoning is fallacious.
